In this blog post, I’ll share my thoughts on make money online courses. I’ll share some things that are important to know before you enrol in a course. I think that this will provide you with some clarity if you’re somewhat new to online business. Please understand that we’re by no means online gurus like Frank Kern, who I think made 18 million dollars in a day. But we gone through some courses and therefore have some insights that we believe can be valuable to you depending on your experience. One thing that I’ve found is that it can be better to follow and listen to people that are just a little bit ahead of you regarding experience in that field as oppose to following someone who is 10-20 years ahead of you. People that are just one to two years ahead might be more in the “field” and can perhaps communicate the message in a way that is more relatable. Alright, enough with the rant, let’s dive into the actual topic.
Make Money Online Courses, Do They Work?
I don’t blame you if the thought of scam comes to your mind when you think of make money online courses. In fact, there have been and still are a lot of scammy products in this niche. However, one thing to keep in mind is that the FTC rules (Federal Trade Commission Act) have been cracking down on scammers. So that removes a lot of old products from the market, and it also keeps new scam products from entering, because believe it or not, most people do not want to be on the wrong side of the law.
Now, of course, a lot of make money online courses work if the people that enrol in them do. But what separates a more effective course from a less efficient one, and how can you tell?
“Join This Course To Learn This System That I Can’t Tell You About Before You Buy it.”
Let’s first go over what I believe to be a less effective course. Let’s say you see a sales page where a person is talking about a system without actually giving you a hint of what the system is. If that’s the case, you could be dealing with somewhat of a scam product. Perhaps you’ll join the course and discover that it’s a pyramid scheme. The course might teach you to make money by referring other people to learn this “system” by joining the course. Of course, they will recommend you to reach out to your close ones first. Talk about a great way to lose all your friends!
Can You Understand What The Course Is About?
Now, understanding what the course is about is a critical component to choosing effective “make money online courses.” It goes back to the example of a “system”. You want to make sure that you can understand the way (the system) that this course will teach you to earn money. For example, we joined a self-publishing course which meant that we were going to make money by selling books. “Hmm, books have been around for thousands of years, it makes sense!” That was our thought process, and it doesn’t have to be more complicated than that. But at least make sure that you know how you will make money online.
Will You Be Taught To Exchange Value?
This question is simple, but yet imperative. Again, let’s take the example of the “pyramid system”. You’re not providing any value by doing that, are you? Well, perhaps to the owner of the course but most likely not to the buyer. I could be wrong, but that’s at least how I feel about it.
Let’s take the example of publishing again since that’s what we’re doing. You’re selling a product that will either give the buyer entertainment or teach them something. Perhaps I’m a little bit biased since I love buying books, but I see lots of value being exchanged by that.
Reality Is What You Perceive It To Be
Now, let me give you one important idea about value. Just because a product is the best value in a tangible form does not necessarily mean that it’s the value that the buyer will prefer. Please, stay with me I know that this sentence is confusing. Let’s take an example to make this easier to understand. For example, why would people buy an American Express card in titanium that costs way more than a regular credit card? I mean it’s not that it simplifies the purchases. In fact, a lot of people think that it’s harder to buy with a titanium card. Now, the answer to why people would buy an American Express card is that perceived value is real. You’re buying the card because it’s fancy and it’s not something that everyone can afford. I will probably create a separate blog post about this subject because I find it fascinating. But for now, just remember that you don’t have to play a price war to provide value.
Are People Making Money With The Help Of That Course Now And Not Years Ago?
Remember that things change fast on the internet. One thing that works now might be obsolete tomorrow. For example, building niche websites and ranking them in Google is not as easy as it used to be. Google made a change which caused a lot of people to lose their businesses. Now, admittedly Amazon could make a change that affects our publishing business as well. But we can’t be afraid of that; we have to adapt. One quote that is worth remembering is from Charles Darwin: “It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent. It is the one that is most adaptable to change.” So make sure that the make money online course that you’re choosing is working well today and not only yesterday.
Some Words About Income Proof
You want to do the best you can to make sure that the course creator is 100% honest about the fact that he or she is making money online through the method that you’ll learn in the program. The instructor should be able to provide you with real income proof. Be aware that people can fabricate income reports, but again most people do not want to play games with the FTC, so it’s most likely accurate. The more recent the proof picture was taken, the better.
Final Words About Make Money Online Courses
We’ve bought some courses and software’s that didn’t feel right for us. But you know what, we’ve been able to get our money back. Most courses out there offers a money back guarantee. A lot of people that have created the classes have a brand behind them. If they have a brand, it means that they probably have a reputation to protect. They know that they must provide you with more value than what you’re paying for to stay in business. And if you’re not happy with their product, they aren’t satisfied with your money.
One thing to keep in mind is that it will require work and perhaps some investment if you want to make money online. It’s called an online business for a reason. It’s business, and it should be treated with the same care that you would give to your offline business. It may also require some patience and faith. Brian Tracy, who has been studying success for most of his life, states that you should try something at least ten times before you judge. Everything might not work the first time, so you have to keep going. Things might not be showing on the surface but underneath the roots are growing. You’re learning valuable lessons that could eventually be the cause of your snowball effect.
